It's about a girl who does not think that she is beautiful because she doesn't know it yet but the guy tells her that she is beautiful like when Liam says "You're insecure don't know what for you're turning heads when you walk through the door" and that the guy is saying that she is insecure and that she is turning her head when she walks through the door and then Liam says "Don't need make-up to cover up being the way that you are is enough" and he is also saying that she doesn't need make-up to cover her identity and that the way she is enough.

I think this next song is about being beautiful you are but when the chorus came on. I wanted to be like performing. I think the song had some instruments like drum and some other instruments and the song come from one direction. It made me happy to get the songs get through. Very good feel to it. This is horrible because they are saying that her not being confident in herself is what makes her pretty. They never tell her to get confident. They never tell her to start believing in herself.

And did anyone else notice how they only mention physical features like her hair and smile. Never about intelligence, personality, bravery, respectability. Like us girls need to be told by a boy we are pretty to believe it. That comes internally. It's about a Girl who isn't sure if she's beautiful, or not. The guy s then tell the girl, and then she believes that. She then hangs out with the guy s afterwards. I think that this song is about a girl who feels insecure about herself and doesn't feel beautiful, but a boy loves her just the way she is, inside and out!!

It's a guy singing about that he loves everything about a girl and she doesn't know that she's beautiful but if she could see through his eyes. Why the hell would anyone think that producing a song that is about the exact same thing that every other song is about.

Yes we've heard, you saw a girl, thought she was pretty, had someone else write this sugarcoated song for you while you sat around a table admiring your Maybachs while drinking bourbon and smoking cigars, made a bunch of instrument machines play instrumentals, sang it, auto tuned it, did a crappy video, styled your hair, made another hundred thousand dollars, and bought three Bentleys, lets compare you to the Beatles a band who writes experimental and different songs, sings them, sells them, and makes money they earned.

His relaxed position and open arms suggest he is an open person, he could be opening his arms to you, suggesting an open heart. He looks vulnerable, whereas people with their arms folded can look closed off and protective, he is open and not worried about his surroundings he feels safe, and wants the audience to feel safe too.

In this second shot we see another band member with his eyes closed and his hand on his chest. The fact that he has his eyes closed is meant to show that he is very passionate about what he's singing about. Similar to how we close our eyes when we are remembering a good moment, or when we kiss someone, he is closing his eyes as if to say "I am really feeling this right now".

His hand is on his chest again reinforcing ideas of being passionate and tender, and really believing in the lyrics. His hands are on his heart and in the next shot he then brings his palm out to point at the camera, in theory giving his heart over to the audience. He also wears white, suggest ideas of purity and virginity, he is calm, cool and collected. She is shown in a cross dissolve against some shots of rushing waves. She dances around laughing and smiling in a bold colourful bikini with flowers, she has long hair and a tan.

She is the epitome of everything feminine. Her character has been constructed to be the ideal 'normal' woman. She doesn't have piercings and tattoos, she is brunette which stereotypically suggests more intelligence, and less sex than a blonde, she wears a colourful top, with a bikini underneath, she doesn't show much flesh.

Her face is only shown for a moment, before it is covered by her hair. This lets the audience imagine themselves in her position. One Direction fans are known for being notoriously jealous and wouldn't like to see a famous actress or singer playing this role, instead they'd rather have a nobody who is easier to identify with.

They have the top down, again insinuating their free and happy state of mind, they raise their hands up giggling and laughing. The car is red suggesting feelings of lust, love, romance and passion. The girls all wear white, or bright colours. They are girly, and fun.
