Almost everyone, regardless of income, can qualify for some form of financial aid. In fact, more than 70 percent of all ASU students receive some form of financial assistance every year. Graduates of the bachelor's degree program are prepared for graduate school as well as a range of design-related careers. Those who wish to become licensed can complete their professional studies by attending an accredited professional master's degree. The Design School offers a two-year professional MArch for graduates of the undergraduate program.

The right space spurs the imagination. Our open Design Studios create an innovative learning environment, replicating that of a firm or agency. The Fab Lab is divided into two: the digital part with a CNC router, laser cutters and 3D printers, and the other with traditional, hands-on carpentry tools. A firm understanding of the fundamentals and the application of architecture to society are key to life as an architect.

This knowledge, combined with a design approach, an entrepreneurial mindset, and advanced management and communication skills will make you stand out as a versatile architect, capable of creating innovative environments and spaces. IE School of Architecture and Design is the first Spanish academic institution to be accredited by Singapore, a country renowned for its innovative and vibrant approach to architecture.

With this accreditation, our graduates will be able to work with the same footing as graduates from the two Singaporean schools of architecture and expand their global employment opportunities. Technology Studies 3. The third stage of the investigation of architectural technology aims to develop a detailed understanding of structural, construction and environmental systems.

You'll be taught by our academics and by professional architects and engineers from local practices Study trips: recent trips have been made to familiar architectural hotspots, including Barcelona, Rome, Paris and Venice.

We have also visited some less familiar sites, such as Gdansk Poland , Toledo Spain and Monte Caruso Italy Site visits: you'll have the chance to visit architectural sites in both urban and rural areas of Scotland.

During these trips you'll examine, record, investigate and research the sites in response to a project brief Live build: as an Architectural Studies student you'll explore construction techniques, programme scheduling and material choice through hands-on build projects Professional attributes: we help our students develop skills in self-critique, confidence building and independent learning.
